Find answers to your questions about our farm experiences, flowers, on-farm market, and all the special details that make White Picket Farm unique.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept cash (with change available), Venmo, PayPal, Facebook Pay, and Zelle. Credit cards are not accepted.
  • Can I purchase gift certificates?
    Yes! Gift certificates are available and can be used toward any of our experiences or floral products.
  • Do you offer fresh flowers for purchase?
    Yes! Our on-farm market offers seasonal picked-for-you fresh flowers. Availability may vary by season. Message us to order.
  • Do you offer funeral arrangements/sympathy gifts?
    Yes, we offer custom funeral and sympathy gifts designed with care and intention. During our growing season we can build a handpicked floral arrangement. In our off-season we offer our signature plant options which include a Heart & Soil succulent arrangement or our exclusive kokedama design crafted with house plants. Call to order and check availability.
  • Do you host school groups?
    We do not host school groups at this time. For specifics on flower sessions with children, we love welcoming families. However, this is an agricultural setting with pollinators, including bees and insects. We are not responsible for stings, bites, or allergic reactions. Groups with 3+ children must have at least two paying adults for supervision. Children under the age of 10 are not permitted to use cutters. Children must accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times, and the adult assumes full responsibility for the safety and behavior of the child(ran) in their care. For safety, children should not play in fountains, climb sculptures, or jump through flower rows. Shoes are required at all times.
  • Do I need to book experiences in advance, if so how do I book?
    Yes, all experiences must be booked in advance. Some are seasonal or limited in size, so we recommend reserving your spot early. You can reach out via our Contact form for custom or private event inquiries.
  • Can I take personal photos at the farm? (Senior Photos, Prom, etc.)
    Yes, during our growing season. We require advance reservation and there is a fee. Please message us for details on cost and availability.
  • Do you allow professional photography?
    Yes. Photographers interested in shooting at White Picket should submit a comment form on our website or message us for details.
  • What should I wear when visiting the farm?
    We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes, especially if you’ll be walking through the garden or attending a hands-on floral workshop.
  • Do you host weddings?
    We do not host weddings, but we do offer the farm as a venue for intimate bridal party celebrations. If you're looking for a meaningful celebration surrounded by nature and florals, we’d love to help make it beautiful. Reach out through our Contact page to start planning! We do have a wedding venue in our local area, you can visit Riverbend Farm and Barn to learn more.
  • Do you offer wedding florals?
    We do not offer wedding design, however we are happy to help the DIY bride interested in bulk purchases of locally grown florals. We have partnered with an extremely talented studio florist who sources local blooms to create the wedding of your dreams.   • Are pets allowed?
    No, we do not allow pets on the farm. Service animals are permitted but must remain leashed or held at all times and are not allowed in the gardens.
  • Compliance with Farm Rules
    All visitors are expected to comply with farm rules and instructions provided by farm staff. Failure to follow rules and instructions may result in removal from the premises without a refund.
  • Assumption of Liability
    Our farm is a working farm with irrigation lines, uneven terrain, farm equipment, and other potential hazards. By purchasing an experience or pick your own session, you understand and voluntarily assume all risks associated with visiting and participating in activities on the farm, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness, or damage to personal property.
  • When is the PYO Garden open? Do I need an appointment?
    Starting July 1, open picking is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–9:00 PM. Private sessions can be scheduled by submitting a comment form on our website. Watch for special announcements and events on our page.
  • What does a PYO session cost? What should I bring?
    PYO sessions are $15, including a vase, loaned use of our clippers, flower-picking tips, and access to our gardens (tax included). Dress accordingly—sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray are recommended. Feel free to bring water, but bottled water is available for purchase.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept cash (with change available), Venmo, PayPal, Facebook Pay, and Zelle. Credit cards are not accepted.
  • Can I bring my own vase?
    Yes, as long as it has a similar diameter to a regular-mouth mason jar. Larger vases will be priced accordingly. Bring your own vase and save $1.
  • Is there a limit on the number of stems?
    No, you are free to craft your bouquet however you like.
  • Does everyone in my group need to purchase a vase?
    No, but each vase includes the use of one pair of cutters.
  • Do you offer bulk U-pick?
    Yes! Perfect for celebrations, bulk U-pick is $75 per bucket. We provide a bucket and cutters for gathering stems, but you must bring your own bucket for transport. Allow plenty of time, as picking a full bucket takes a while!
  • Do you offer wedding florals?
    We do not offer wedding design, however we are happy to help the DIY bride interested in bulk purchases of locally grown florals.     Yes! Our rows are wide enough to accommodate strollers.
  • How much does it cost for children? Can they share my vase?
    Each vase is $15 and comes with one pair of cutters. You may share a vase with your child while supervising them as they pick. Children 11 and older may purchase their own vase with parental supervision.
  • Can I take personal photos during our PYO flower session?
    Yes, during our growing season. We require advance reservation and there is a fee. Please message us for details on cost and availability. You may take cell phone photos during your PYO session, but a bouquet purchase is required. We invest thousands of hours and dollars to create a special space, and PYO sessions help support it. We love seeing your photos—please check in and tag us on social media!
  • Do you allow professional photography?

  • What kind of experiences do you offer?
    We offer a variety of custom farm experiences including: Sourdough 101 Custom seasonal bakery workshops Farm-to-vase floral design Succulent bowl creations Dried flower arrangements Seasonal floral design Private micro-events at the 'TABLE' with grazing boards
  • Is there a minimum and maximum number of guests for events?
    We focus on small intimate experiences for our private events and workshops. Please see our experience section for specifics.
  • Do I need to book experiences in advance, if so how do I book?
    Yes, all experiences must be booked in advance. Some are seasonal or limited in size, so we recommend reserving your spot early. You can reach out via our Contact form for custom or private event inquiries.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Payment is required at the time of registration (at least one week before event). Payments are non-refundable due to the nature of the services we offer. If White Picket must cancel the experience/workshop, we will offer the choice of a refund (minus any fees) or reschedule your event at a mutually agreeable date.
  • Do you allow walk-ins for experiences?
    Experiences are by reservation only so we can prepare materials and create a personalized experience for each guest.
  • Do you offer individual one-on-one classes?
    Yes. Send a contact form or message us for more information.
  • Are your experiences kid-friendly?
    Some of our experiences are suitable for older teens, especially those who enjoy crafting and nature. Feel free to ask about age-appropriate options when booking. The experience fees are applicable to all participants.
  • Do you host weddings?
    We do not host weddings, but we do offer the farm as a venue for intimate bridal party celebrations.   • Do you offer experiences with dietary limitations?
    Not at this time.
  • Are gratuities included with the experience at White Picket Farm?
    At White Picket Farm, gratuities are not included. We strive to provide an exceptional experience for all our visitors, any additional tips are completely at your discretion, and are greatly appreciated.
